We are committed towards building a sustainable future and preserving the environment. At JKCement, we have a stringent eco-friendly policy. Besides regular technology updations for emission reduction, effluent management and energy efficiency, we also actively partner with the local administration around our plants to undertake afforestation and conduct plantation drives. JK Cement Ltd. is also a member of the prestigious Indian Green Building Council. Conservation, harvesting and management of water resources in the water-starved state of Rajasthan has also been our priority.

“Yadupati Singhania Sustainable Community Development Program (YPS-SCDP)” at Jaykaycem (Central) Ltd, Panna has launched “SANSPARSH” that will focus on the overall development and economic advancement of the communities in its area of operations
The initiatives launched under “SANSPARSH” are:
Under this programme, vocational training and skill development will be provided at the ITI institute of the Company located at Nimbahera, Rajasthan. Additionally, Students from nearby Government Schools who have topped the board exams will be felicitated and will receive mobile tablets. The students will also receive financial incentives under this initiative
Under this initiative, the company has donated Oxygen concentrators to the district hospitals and conducted several vaccination drives at the plant and nearby villages.
The Company is also installing an Oxygen generation & filling plant with a capacity of 80m3/hr that will soon be operational
2 Ambulances have been donated in nearby Tehsils (Amanganj & Simariya) and a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) is also operationalized to cater to emergencies and regular health check-ups.
In order to promote safe and hygienic-sanitary practices among the Government Girl’s Schools from the nearby villages Sanitary Pad Vending and incinerator machines have been installed
The Company actively partners with the local administration in tree plantation campaigns by donating and planting saplings and trees.
In addition to initiating the Hydrological & Hydrogeological survey in the nearby areas of its plant operations, the programme will provide access to safe drinking water by setting up RO plants and restore water bodies by deepening ponds in the villages around the plant locations
Under the Cattle Breed Improvement Project the first ILDC center was inaugurated at Puraina Tehsil Amanganj. The objective of this project is to improve the health & breeding of cattle.
This project will cover approx. 200 villages, operated under 30 ILDC centers. The objective of this project is to increase the income of farmers by significantly improving milk production & other dairy products.
The other objective of the project includes providing veterinary services to the cattle and advising the villagers on how to produce low-cost fodder. With a budget of Rs. 7 Crores approx., the project has been planned out for 5 years.
